On the 14th of February, our camera club will be holding a practical photography evening which has been arranged by club member Steve Percival. There will be no meeting at the clubhouse. Instead, we will be meeting at the new “Dinosaur” footbridge by the railway crossing on the Brayford. The meeting time will be slightly earlier than normal starting at 19:00.
Around the area, there will be chances to grab a few shots of moving trains going through the crossing, shots from the top of the footbridge, also, further down from the bridge you can get shots from around the university campus area, and looking across the Brayford and the boats. Steve will be staying around the top area to help members and Dave Chapman has kindly offered to help around the University campus area. Don’t forget to bring your tripod and also remember to ensure your batteries are fully charged!
Please remember that the evening is subject to the weather, do keep an eye out for any late announcements, you can contact Steve direct on 07847-531-408 after 16:30 if needed, or alternatively via email at steve_percival@outlook.com
